Some of us were alive, but not necessarily taking much notice, so for everyone it seems a very good idea to break out the BBQ for the season and make our own celebration
of the 80th anniversary of V E Day
Come and bring family and friends (£5 members/£6 non-members) for a tasty BBQ with salad accompaniments – and bar, of course
Fun games and other activities (still being designed)
How to make it memorable?
Photo board – do you have pictures of you or your family at the time to share?
Fashion – can you regress and come in 1945 ‘fashion’? (strictly optional)
Decoration – bring your union jacks, anything red, white and blue to add to the decor
